Guidelines

  • The Register of Consultants is open to all active members of The Textile Institute
  • The member listed on the register must be an active individual member of The Textile Institute; this does not include named persons in the Corporate package
  • If membership lapses the consultant will be automatically removed from the register
  • The Textile Institute does not take payment for any work undertaken by the consultant, except for the fee that members pay to be listed
  • Contractual negotiations are between the consultant and the contractor, with no input from The Textile Institute
  • Frequently projects are offered to The Textile Institute via other sources e.g. World Bank, DTI, EU etc. The Textile Institute will forward these projects to the appropriate consultants with the relevant experience/expertise. It is then up to the consultant to pursue the contract
  • Inclusion on to Register of Consultants does in no way imply that the consultant is authorised, sponsored or appointed by The Textile Institute to undertake any consultancy assignment. The consultant must make this clear to any client they undertake work for
