Recruiting for a Sales / Business Development Executive to join one of the leading providers of multiproduct apparel.  Working with a mix of existing clients, this position will suit an individual who is experienced in developing ‘B2B’ relationships, who enjoys targeting and developing new revenue streams. Good networking and project management skills to provide a customer focussed, tailored service.

Business Development Executive – The Job Outline

  • Management and growth of small portfolio of existing clients to pre-defined sales and gross margin targets
  • To grow new revenue streams for the business through use of internal and external resource
  • To assist Business Development Manager through pipeline management and customer / tender responses
  • Identify key decision makers within targeted organisations
  • Work with marketing agencies to develop marketing and PR materials to promote the business and new revenue streams
  • Creative development of Sales Presentations
  • Develop USP ‘s by maintaining a thorough knowledge of the market and competitor activity
  • Attend relevant trade events and conferences to sell the product offering
  • Carry out research to establish business position in the market and awareness with input into the Sales pipeline
  • Communicate and report regularly with all key business stakeholders.
  • To assist with the development and project management of any other business wide sales strategies.

Business Development Executive – The Person Specification

  • Proven sales track record in clothing & textiles based industry or similar.  Previous B2B sales experience selling apparel or a tailored service package.
  • Strong sales negotiator.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Good level of project management skills
  • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Proactive and forward thinking.
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Full clean driving licence.
