Long established Manchester based high quality ladieswear supplier to many UK Premium brands, looking to recruit an experienced Fabric Technician to work within our busy fabric department.

Role is fulltime and office based.

Role

Issuing all base testing at development stage. Analysis of results and agreeing/setting all performance standards with mills. Agreeing any non-conformance with customers
Issuing all bulk testing. Raising any testing queries with mills through to resolution
Issuing care label proposals to customers based on bulk tests. Agree labelling with customer. Working with customers PLM systems
Checking and approval of all batch references
Analysis of any mills’ bulk inspection reports
Communicate and negotiate any claims relating to fabric faults with suppliers through to resolution
