The appointee will be required to:
(a) engage in teaching and learning activities, and conduct lectures, tutorials, seminars and practical sessions in the related subject areas
(b) prepare and develop teaching materials, design teaching and assessment strategies, deliver teaching in academic settings appropriate for the objectives of learning, interact with and motivate students, and assess the performance of and give feedback to students
(c) contribute to the development of subject curriculum and pedagogy, overall teaching and learning approaches/strategies as well as subject administration
(d) assist in the development and management of relevant teaching facilities
(e) participate in pedagogical research and consultancy projects
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Institute or his delegates


Applicants should have:
(a) a master’s degree, preferably with a PhD, in a relevant discipline or a relevant professional qualification
(b) not less than three years of post-qualification tertiary teaching experience and/or industrial experience in fashion marketing and management, preferably at international level
(c) sound knowledge of university teaching experience in some of the following areas, including fashion information system and management, business intelligence and data anlaytics, mobile app design or Internet of Things (IoT), supply chain management, sustainablitiy and green fashion, fashion marketing, entrepreunurship, fashion merchandising, strategic management, retail buying, advertising and promotion
(d) an established track record of research outputs in top-tier refereed journals as well as research grant applications with postgraduate supervisions being an advantage; and
(e) good communication skills and the ability to use English as the medium of instruction

Preference will be given to those with strong research orientation and a good teaching record. Applicants with less experience will be considered for appointment at Instructor level. The job
duty requirements and expectation will be in line with the appointed grade.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual
