Postgraduate researchers invited to submit abstracts for the 5th Textiles and Life Student Conference
The Manchester & the North West Section of The Textile Institute is pleased to announce the 5th Textiles and Life Student Conference, taking place in Manchester on 11 November 2026.
The conference provides a platform for postgraduate researchers to present their research, exchange ideas and connect with researchers from across the textile and related disciplines.
This year’s conference theme is Textiles for People and Planet, reflecting the broad and evolving role of textiles in addressing challenges and opportunities for people, society and the environment.
Call for Abstracts
A Call for Abstracts is now open for postgraduate researchers working across textiles, materials, fashion and related areas. Submissions are welcomed for both oral presentations and posters.
The conference offers an opportunity for researchers to share their work with a wider audience, gain experience presenting their research and build connections within the textile research community.
