International Student Textile Design Competition – now open!
Organised by the Textile Institute Sustainability Special Interest Group in collaboration with the Colour4CRAFTS research consortium, this global competition invites design students to imagine the future of textile colouration using natural and bio-based dyes.
Participants are encouraged to submit innovative textile designs that celebrate sustainability, aesthetics, heritage, and innovation around the theme: ‘Colour for Tomorrow’

Semi-finalists will be announced on 12 Jan 2026 and an awards ceremony and exhibition will be held from 18–20 May 2026 in Leeds, UK.
