International Student Textile Design Competition – deadline extension!

Organised by the Textile Institute Sustainability Special Interest Group in collaboration with the Colour4CRAFTS research consortium, this global competition invites design students to imagine the future of textile colouration using natural and bio-based dyes.
Participants are encouraged to submit innovative textile designs that celebrate sustainability, aesthetics, heritage, and innovation around the theme: ‘Colour for Tomorrow’

The deadline for submissions has been extended to 10 December 2025
Semi-finalists will be announced on 12 Jan 2026 and an awards ceremony and exhibition will be held in Leeds, UK on 11 May 2026.
The winning designs will be showcased from 1-30 May at the Colour4CRAFTS final exhibition at the School of Design, University of Leeds, UK.
