The Textile Institute London & SE England Section is delighted to invite you to visit the new London College of Fashion (LCF) premises at Stratford, winner of the 2025 RIBA London Award.
In 2023, LCF moved from six different London sites to the single campus at Stratford allowing it to consolidate its courses for 5,500 students under one roof. A wide range of disciplines are taught including fashion design, leather working, business and architecture.
The schedule is as follows:
2:20 pm Arrival & Welcome
2:30 – 3:00 pm Demonstration of the new AI-powered 3D garment volumetric capture system by the Fashion Innovation Agency (FIA)
3:00 – 3:15 pm Laboratory Visit
3:15 – 4:00 pm Building tour including library
4:00 – 4:25 pm Refreshments
4:30 – 5:00 pm TI Presentation to students

You are invited to the Annual General Meeting 2025 of the Textile Institute London and South East England Section, followed by a keynote presentation by Dr Holly Morris CText FTI.
Dr Morris, a surgeon and textile expert, will present ‘Improving Healthcare with Textiles’, exploring the intersection of medical science, sustainability, and textile innovation.
Attendance is free for Textile Institute members (registration required).
Non-members may join the Zoom presentation from 15:00 to 16:00 BST for £10.
