Why Textiles and Life?  Textiles touch all of us, every day; from the clothes we wear and the furnishings in our homes to disposables we use for health, hygiene, and cleaning purposes. Textiles are a major component in vehicles, sportswear and sports equipment, in the theatre and in architecture, and even as replacement arteries and valves in our bodies.
