TIWC Keynote Announcement – Elizabeth Brown CText FTI

The Textile Institute, in collaboration with Aquitex, is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Brown CText FTI will be delivering a Keynote Address at the upcoming Textile Institute World Conference (TIWC).

Keynote Title:

Waste to Raw Material: Technology Development for Advancing Textile Recycling

Elizabeth Brown is a Chartered Associate of The Textile Institute. Following an extensive career in Product Design and Innovation for a UK safety and survival equipment company, Elizabeth is currently a Senior Research Engineer within the Manufacturing Technology Centre’s (MTC) Technology Transformation team. She has played a leading role in MTC’s research into technologies for sorting and pre-processing of waste textiles for the Automatic-sorting for Circularity in Textiles (ACT UK) project, a two-year programme funded by Innovate UK and led by the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT).
