TIWC Keynote Speaker Announcement – António Braz Costa, Citeve, Portugal
The Textile Institute, in collaboration with Aquitex, is pleased to announce that António Braz Costa, Citeve, Portugal, will be delivering a Keynote Address at the upcoming Textile Institute World Conference (TIWC).
António Braz Costa holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (UM 1989) and a training in Advanced Public Management (National Institute of Administration, 2008). He is the General Manager at CITEVE since 2000 and President of CeNTI since 2025, having previously served as Executive Board Member since 2012. He is also president of TEXTRANET – European Network of Textile Research Organizations since 2010, and Vice-President of the Textile ETP – European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing since 2013 and Member of the Advisory Board of ANI – National Innovation Agency. Finally, he is also member/board member of several clusters (Textile Cluster: Technology and Fashion, BatPower – Portuguese Battery Cluster, CCG – Centre for Computer Graphics, Regional Innovation Council of Northern Portugal – Coordinator of the Regional Smart Specialisation Platform “Creativity, Fashion and Habitat.”) and Vice-President of Bikinnov – Bike Value Innovation Centre Association.
