Holly Morris
Ms Holly Morris holds dual professional accreditation across the surgical and textile industries. She works as a specialist hand and wrist surgeon. In her clinical practice, she is an advocate for sustainability and, having completed her PhD on the topic, a circular economy for medical textiles. Some of her PhD work was submitted to the Covid Inquiry.
Holly is widely published in her field, including the textbook “Medical Textiles” for the Textile Institute Professional Publications Series. Holly has previously advised the Royal College of Surgeons Sustainability group, contributing guidance on textile use in surgery for the Green Surgery Report. Currently, she is a member of the Health Technology Assessment international Environmental Sustainability Group. Previously Chief Medical Officer for Revolution-ZERO, Holly has a working knowledge of medical device regulations.
