Having graduated from University of Madras in Chemistry in 1980 and received the Associateship (CText ATI) from The Textile Institute in 2015. I have worked in various fields of textile wet processing segments such as woven fabrics of all blends, knitted fabric, yarn dyeing, printing, terry towel processing, silk processing and also worked in the area of technical textiles. Analytical problem solving, standardisation of process, conducting trials, executing projects, product developments are the key result areas. Also, exposed to the field of marketing textile dyes and chemicals when associated with Dystar India Private Limited, for a period of eight years. Also, served as an external faculty in AADTT, jointly sponsored by Dystar and Alok Industries, the course was approved by The Textile Institute. Presently heading the wet processing section of Gimatex Industries Private Limited, situated in Dholka, Ahmedabad, Gujarat state, India.
