Nanda Nandan Mahapatra CText FTI

25  years of Production experience in textile industries (fibre dyeing , yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing ) in India and abroad and 12 years experience in senior position in Dyes Marketing in India. He has worked in all big textile houses like Birlas (both Aditya Birla and K K Birla group) Reliance, Raymond (Kenya) Churchgate Group (Nigeria), GSL Ltd, (formerly Gujarat Spinners Ltd), LNJ Bhilwara (RSWM) Group and Hindprakash Lonsen Industries, Ahmedabad, Colorant Ltd, Ahmedabad in various senior capacities.

In the year 2007 he was also awarded CCol FSDC and CText FTI. In the year 2008 he was awarded the FTA from the Textile Association of India & FIC from the Institution of Chemists, Kolkata. In the year 2009 he was awarded the FIE from the Institution of Engineers (India). He has implemented many new technologies which has given benefits to the textile industries. He was awarded  the FICS   from Indian Chemical Society (India) in 2007 . Received the Fellowship Award (FIIChE) from Indian  Institution of Chemical Engineers (India) on 27 th  December 2017. Received the Fellowship Award  (FAIC) from The American Institute of Chemists, Inc.315 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA (USA) on December 11 th ,2017.

He has been admitted Council to The Royal Society of Chemistry as a FELLOW (FRSC, UK) in 2017

He is a senior member of American Association of Textile Chemists and Colourists . He was the National Vice-Chairman, Textile Association (India). He was the Chairman of WISTI (Western India Section of The Textile Institute,Manchester (2010-2013). He was the Vice President of ACTI (2013-2015) Association of Chemical Technologists (India). He was a visiting Professor at Wuhan Textile University,China, Institute of Chemical Technology,Mumbai (Prof Nabar Endowment Lecture 2014-15)

He has contributed to more than 309 papers in textile journals, having international circulation and presented more than 81 technical papers in various seminars in the country and abroad. He has written 7 books (Textile Dyes & Dyeing, Textile Technology, Textile Processing, Textiles & Environment ,Textile Dyes, Textile Dyeing and Sarees of India) He has travelled to various countries e.g. Hong Kong, China, Kenya, Australia, Singapore, Nigeria, UK, Bangladesh, Dubai, Germany, Ethiopia, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Thailand.

Presently he is working as Business Head ( Dyes ), Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers ,Ltd. Mumbai
