Timir Baran Roy CText FTI
Timir Baran Roy is a graduate from College of Textile Technology, Berhampore (Calcutta University) in the year 1973 and completed his post- graduation (M Text Engineering) from Faculty of Technology & Engineering, M.S.University, Baroda in the year 1979.
Specialized in the field of fiber and yarn spinning with a carrier spanning over 36 years in the industry having wide range of experience from production to marketing across cellulose, synthetic fibers and textile machinery.
He has successfully completed few projects like Cotton Spinning Plants, Denim Plants (10 million meters each plant), Techno-Economic feasibility studies, Conservation of Energy, Waste control etc in India and abroad.
Practiced maintenance audit, maintenance of QMS, EMS & TPM as a tools to achieve target and establish benchmark. Maintenance is his strength.
He set up a “Textiles” Special Interest Group in India under India National Office & the Textile Institute Head Quarter in Manchester.
